Academic UIL Advances to Region Contest

Congratulations to all of the El Campo High School students who competed in the UIL Academic contest last week. Below are the students advancing to the Region Contest later in April at Stephen F. Austin State University:

  • Eve Trevino - 1st place Poetry 

  • Cambrie Priesmeyer -  2nd place Headline Writing & 2nd place Informative Speaking 

  • Seth Malloy - 2nd place Editorial Writing

  • Cielio Espinosa - 3rd place Editorial Writing

  • Scott Mallory - 2nd place Feature Writing

  • Juliana Vasquez - 2nd place Persuasive Speaking

  • Mason Sabrsula - 3rd place Informative Speaking

  • Karina Ramirez - 2nd place Prose 

  • Mason Sabrusla - 1st place Computer Applications

  • Sophia McClain - 3rd place Computer Applications

  • Jack Dorotik - 1st place Science

  • Lucas Pfeil - 2nd place Science

And the Science Team placed 1st and the Accounting Team placed 2nd. Good luck to all at the Region Contest on April 22nd!
