Welcome to my teacher webpage!
My name is Mrs. Beverly Juranek. I teach Business Information Management (BIM) and strive to prepare students to successfully acquire certifications in Microsoft applications. There are several certifications that can assist students with acquiring employment in addition to being better prepared for college.
I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Houston-Victoria, my Master of Library Science from Sam Houston State University, and also have a computer certification. I enjoy traveling, reading a good book, quilting, and spending time with friends and family. I strive to transfer my love of learning to my students. Learning practical computer and job skills will assist students in dealing with daily situations in both the classroom, college, and on the job throughout their career.
My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do not hesitate to email me with any questions or concerns at any time.

For specific times associated with the class periods, please refer to the ECHS bell schedule. All students will occasionally be offered an opportunity for extra credit, but any student may contact me if they feel they need extra credit to bring their grade up.
Tutorials are available before and after school at the request of the student. I may also request a student come to tutorials if the student is not meeting a passing grade. Please contact me in class, via email or a text through my class account on Remind if you would like to come to tutorials o work on classwork.
Morning Detention is given if a student is re-directed in class multiple times for the same inappropriate or off task behavior. The parent is not called, but may be emailed with this information. This is another opportunity for the student to identify and change the behavior. It is offered instead of sending a student to the principal. if the student does not show up, they will be given a disciplinary notice and called to speak with the principal.
