NHS Induction by: Anastasia Hobbins

The National Honor Society is an organization aimed toward praising and aiding in the success of the brightest minds. Students with a GPA of 4.5 and higher were inducted into this society on Tuesday, September 24, 2018.

“I feel honored and humbled. Everyone in NHS deserves to be there, as it also takes lots of hard work and dedication to abide by the group's standards,” said Jose Brito.

In order to stay in the club, you must maintain at least 4.5 GPA, as well as participate in various volunteer opportunities.

“The community is always in need of some type of assistance, and being there to provide it makes you feel a special type of way,” said Jose Brito.

Each semester, the inductee is required at least eight service hours. This encourages involvement within the community while showing the hope this generation carries.

“As you go from here, let this be the beginning of something great. I see doctors, lawyers, teachers, I see success,” said Mr. Wells.
