ECHS Welcomes New Teacher By Ismael Brito

Ms. Browning

There is a new agriculture teacher on campus after a job opening at the start of the year. Ag teacher Zachary Zahradnik left his position, and the new ag teacher Hailey Browning took over his position.

This is her first teaching job since graduating from A&M University.

“I studied ag science, and I teach advanced plant soil and ag mechanics,” Mrs. Browning said.

She had been in Bellville learning from other teachers before she applied for the job.

“Once the job spot was available, word got around quickly,” Mrs. Browning said. “I’m from a small town, so teaching here makes it easy to do what I love.”

She has always been interested in agriculture, but she never imagined she would become a teacher.

“Up until high school I never thought I would become a teacher,” Mrs. Browning said. “But once I graduated I knew it was my calling.”
