            Fair week is fastly approaching and will kick off Friday, April 20 through Saturday, April 28. Many high school students will be participating along with some members of their family. The fair provides many events for teens, children, and adults with Family Fun Nights.

If you have been awarded any scholarships outside of those posted on the ECHS scholarship page, please email the name of the scholarship and the amount to Mrs. Rod (drod@ecisd.org) so they will be announced at our scholarship assembly on May 23, 2018 at 9:00am.

Some of the State-ranked ECHS cheerleaders recently were named to the prestigious Academic All State and All State honors.“I think that all the girls worked really hard especially since this is the first time that I've had so many seniors,” cheer coach Pam Hunt said of the Academic All State honors. “To maintain this high of a GPA for four years is really hard and being so active in cheer.”

Human Services classes recently took part in the ever-popular “egg baby” project to teach the students about child care. Teacher Paul Wortham assigned this project to give the students a view into the life of a parent.   “It’s hard being a parent to an egg,” freshman Michelle Brito said.
